GENERAL INFO
World Cup Cricket '99 will be held in UK and staging over a five week time starting May 14, 1999. Matches will be played in colored clothing and every country will have different colors which will represent their country. White ball will be used in every match and maximum of 50 overs will be played in one innings. Teams are divided into two groups. Group 'A' and group 'B'. Every groups has six nations and they will play each other in a round-robin basis. Top three of each group will proceed to the next stage which is called 'The Super Six'. The top three 'Super Six' teams from group 'A' will play against the top three teams in group 'B'. They will play a total of nine matches and top four teams will be qualify for the semifinals. The top team of the 'Super Six' will play against 4th team for a place in the final. Other two will play against each other for the other spot in the final.
